Control what data is collected on the form:

• We usually collect First name, Last name , Email and Email opt-in.

• You can optionally add Telephone, Telephone opt-in, Address lines 1 to 3, City, Postcode and Country from the dropdown menus:

• You can move, disable and delete fields from the cog dropdown:

  

• Each field has various options.

  • Common options for most fields

    • Label Text that appears on the form field, e.g. “First name”, “Last name”:

      

    • Required? Whether the field must be filled in to continue:

      

    • Width Choose Full width or Half width:

      

  • Extra options for specific fields

    • Style

      Only for Email opt-in and Telephone opt-in

      Whether the field displays as a Tick box or Yes or No? choice.

      

    • Default selected value

      Only for Country

      Which country will be selected by default.

    • Content

      Only for Content

      A space to enter text with extra formatting controls for bold, italic, links, etc.

    • Handle

      Only for Custom Fields: Text (one line), Text (multi-line), Tick box, Radio buttons, Dropdown, Hidden and Conditional

      What the field will be called when saved in the backend.

    • Max characters

      Only for Text (one line) and Text (multi-line)

      How many characters of text a user is allowed to enter. The upper limit is 255.

    • Height in rows

      Only for Text (multi-line)

      How tall the textbox will appear, measured in rows of text.

    • Show label inside of field to save space

      Only for Text (one-line), Text (multi-line) and Dropdown

      Change the layout depending on how much text you need to label your field.

      

    • Options

      Only for Radio buttons and Dropdown

      A list of options a user can choose from.

      Each option has a Name that will be displayed and a Value that will be saved in the backend when selected.

      One option can also be Selected by default.

    • Buttons per row

      Only for Radio buttons

      Change the layout of radio buttons depending on how much text you need for each one.

      Choose 1, 2, 3 or 4 per row or select Auto to let the layout be based on individual widths.

    • Value

      Only for Hidden

      Value to be saved in the backend.

    • Conditional is an advanced type that lets you record data based on the live values people enter in other fields:

      • Based on Choose another field to base the condition on
      • Other Specify Handle of the other field (only used if Based on is set to Other)
      • Comparison type How to compare the live value
      • True when… What to compare the live value to
      • Value when true Data recorded when the live value matches the comparison. Leave blank if you only need to record data when the comparison is false
      • Value when false Data recorded when the live value doesn’t match the comparison. Leave blank if you only need to record data when the comparison is true
