  • Choose which button is selected by default:

    

  • Optionally, choose to de-emphasise one of the options:

    

    This could be used if you want to drive more people towards Direct Debit than Card. The de-emphasised option will appear as a smaller link instead of a button:

    

• Choose whether to Use Instant Bank Pay

  • Instant Bank Pay is a way to accept GBP payments faster through GoCardless. Payments are confirmed immediately rather than having to wait 3 working days like Direct Debits.

  • Instant Bank Pay can be used for one-time payments and for the first payment of a monthly or yearly subscription (future recurring payments are taken through Direct Debit as usual).

  • If you switch on Use Instant Bank Pay? you can optionally add some Instant Bank Pay info for customers. Any text you enter here will appear in a box with a small arrow below the GoCardless button:
